Hybrid-Chain’s Vault and Wallet system forms the cryptographic backbone of its self-custodial architecture. Every user, institution, or smart agent on the network interacts with the ecosystem through a unique Hybrid-Vault—a programmable vault environment that interfaces directly with Layer-1 blockchains while providing seamless Layer-2 abstraction for performance, flexibility, and modularity.

Hybrid-Vaults ensure that users retain full control over their keys, assets, and access rights. No private keys are held or accessible by Hybrid-Chain or any operator; instead, all access is mediated via secure RSA-encrypted access layers and key derivation logic that ensures isolation, auditability, and recoverability. Vaults are designed to support high-volume, cross-chain activity with cryptographic integrity at every step.

This chapter outlines all wallet-related API endpoints and mechanics, including the creation, management, rotation, and recovery of vaults and wallets. It also introduces special wallet classes—such as Margin Wallets, Rotational Wallets, and Warm/Cold Wallet Environments—that extend functionality for advanced business cases including trading, payments, and treasury automation.
